Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain, located in the lower part of it. Usually the pain appears in the morning when you take the first steps after a relaxing night sleep. But it can also appear while you’re doing daily activities such as walking or running, and it decreases slowly during the activity you take, and usually reappears after you rest and resume the effort.
Plantar fasciitis can have an enormous impact on everyday activities, and here are some remedies that reduce heel pain.
1. Wrap your feet in aluminum foil and take on a pair of cotton socks. Repeat this procedure for a month and a half.
2. Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 50 ml of iodine and 1 teaspoon of salt in a jar. The amount prepared is enough to apply it 5 times. Apply the mixture on a piece of gauze and place it on the heel. Cover with a piece of wrapping foil. Leave the compress to cat overnight, and in the morning try to walk with the compress on for 15 minutes, and then you can remove it!
3. Put 1 teaspoon of honey on a cabbage leaf and apply it on the sole, covering the heel. Let it act overnight, and in the morning, rinse with warm water. This treatment should be repeated 3 times.
4. You can ease the pain by touching the slightly the floor with your heel a few times. In this way, you will improve your blood flow. Moreover, you can easily try and rub the foot on the carpet to stimulate blood circulation.
